Born and raised in northern Italy and residing in the UK since 2011, I am a Conference Interpreter and Translator. I have lived and worked with native English speakers for several years, allowing me to learn the subtle nuances of the language, as well as familiarise myself with different accents and immerse myself in British culture. As a linguist, I understand the importance of keeping my native language active, so I regularly spend time in Italy and read the Italian news to keep abreast of the social, economic and political climate there.
I attained a BA in Interpreting and Translation at Milan University IULM, spending my last year at the University of Portsmouth as an Erasmus student. After working as a Project Manager for two years in a large multinational translation agency, I pursued a Master’s degree in Legal and Conference Interpreting at London Metropolitan University, graduating with distinction. I believe in life-long learning, and regularly attend continuing professional development courses in order to keep up-to-date with the latest industry technologies and expand my linguistic knowledge.
